Last week, a drug manufacturer announced that it would be dropping the cholesterol drug Crestor, which treats heart disease, from the market.
The announcement was made by the maker of the cholesterol drug, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. The drug is the world’s best-selling drug.
AstraZeneca announced that Crestor will now be discontinued at the same rate as the first cholesterol-lowering drug. Crestor is now in its last year’s form, and is expected to be discontinued.
Crestor is a brand name drug for rosuvastatin calcium, the active ingredient in Crestor, but the Food and Drug Administration has yet to approve it.
The company also is developing an injectable drug for high cholesterol, which is sold at a lower price than rosuvastatin, but still in the same form, and it also hopes to enter the market in the second half of the year.
Crestor and rosuvastatin are in development, and AstraZeneca has not yet made any progress on Crestor, although it plans to bring it to market.
In the meantime, some people may still take Crestor as an over-the-counter medication. It is not known if Crestor will be removed from the market by the end of the year.
Some people still take Crestor, but other people may still use it as an over-the-counter drug for their cholesterol problems.
AstraZeneca announced in February that it would be dropping the cholesterol drug Crestor from the market as part of the company’s effort to eliminate the drug’s side effects.

It is also working with the Food and Drug Administration to develop a treatment program for patients who may be taking Crestor. Crestor is a cholesterol-lowering drug, and has not been approved for sale in the United States.
AstraZeneca will not make any decisions about whether to discontinue Crestor or its competitors until it knows how Crestor affects the treatment and patients’ health.
